There are five easy steps to ordering to make it a easy and smooth experience. First, how many are you ordering? Second, which size do you want? There are three different sizes, Keiki (kids size), The Ulu, and Nui, the large. Third, do you want ice cream or Azuki beans? For ice cream, the most common flavors are Vanilla, Macadamia Nut, or Haupia. (Haupia is coconut) Step number four, FLAVORS! You can choose up to three flavors or one combination. Lastly, step five, you can choose if you would like to add any toppings. (snow cap, toasted coconut, fresh mochi, haupia cream, li hing etc.)
I have never had a flavor I didn’t enjoy but I would have to say the fruit flavors are my absolute favorite. My go to Shave Ice order would be the ULU size, its perfect for one person. I get three flavors, mango (it’s a must), guava, and passion fruit. Then I add the Macadamia Nut Ice Cream. They put the ice cream at the very bottom, so don’t forget about it. It makes the juice extra ONO at the very end. Then I normally add mochi to the top!
